Why do I say all of this? Simply because the ADA made certain standards that dental floss must meet in order for it to be sold in the US market. You may not realize this, but the ADA did not set up the FDA to protect the consumer's right to choose whatever dental floss made in the United States does not have fiber in it. Therefore, if you have been using dental floss that does not contain fiber, chances are you could end up suffering from complications down the road. Let me tell you about some things that you need to look out for if you are going to be using any dental floss in the future.

One of the first things to look out for is whether or not the floss has been processed to the point that it contains lead or mercury. The FDA does not regulate floss made in the US until it is assured that it does not have lead or mercury. This means that anyone who wants to buy any kind of floss made in the US needs to know whether or not it was dental floss made in the USA or not. If it was not, you could be risking your health!

Another thing to look out for is to make sure that the floss that you were using to clean yourself with was dental floss made in the USA. I say this because some countries do not use standard sizes of dental floss, and the individual floss that you would use might be too small for you to take care of. You also need to make sure that the floss was made in the US so that you can be confident that it is safe to use.

It is also very important to check the papers on the package very carefully when you buy your floss. Each country has its own rules and regulations regarding the way the floss is certified. If the dental floss was made in the US, it should have been made using sanitary measures and it should have been given the stamp of approval from the US Food and Drug Administration. This is really the only way to be sure of the quality that you are buying.
